Edge finishes
Deburring and edge finishing of laser-cut products.
Deburring
Your cut product without a sharp edge? Then have your product deburred. De Cromvoirtse has various deburring methods to achieve a perfectly finished product.
Timesaver
Our machine ensures that the finish of stainless steel and aluminium is of even higher quality. This is particularly important in the food industry, but also in other industries. This machine guarantees unparalleled deburring and rounding of flat sheet metal parts in all directions. The 8 flap brushes process the sheet metal parts in transit at different processing angles, so that a very even and beautiful rounding is achieved. Of the 8 brushes, 4 rotate counterclockwise and 4 clockwise so that all corners and holes are machined and rounded. Foiled sheets can also be deburred perfectly without removing the foil.
- Perfectly finished product
- One or two-sided
Upon request, we can also deburr products double-sided.
Rounding off steel & removing oxide film
With our deburring machine, we can round off steel products up to 600 mm wide. Contours, holes and recesses are rounded off. Rounding at the cutting edge of the product improves coating adhesion. After cutting with oxygen, the oxide skin is removed from the cutting contour. This allows you to save costs because nitrogen cutting is no longer necessary.
Drum machine
De Cromvoirtse has a drum machine with drying installation that allows us to provide you with an extra high-quality end product. The drum machine removes sharp edges, rounding off the outer contour and hole patterns very lightly, while the drying process ensures a spotless end result. Only stainless steel and aluminium products smaller than 200×200 mm can be processed with this machine. Polished products with foil can also be tumbled without any problems, with only the sharp edges of the contours being treated and the foil remaining in place. Drumming does make the surface of the product slightly duller, although the result is nice and even. If engravings are present on the product, they will become fainter and therefore harder to read.
