Waterjet cutting
De Cromvoirtse is there for your waterjet-cut products made from steel, stainless steel, and aluminium.
Waterjet-cutting solutions at De Cromvoirtse
Waterjet cutting is a technique used to accurately and efficiently cut stainless steel, steel, and aluminium to size without using heat. An abrasive is added to the water when water-cutting materials. The material’s properties remain unaffected because no heat is applied to the metal during the process. This also means that there is no warping, distortion, or discolouration when metals are cut with water.
Cutting sheet metal with water
To take advantage of waterjet-cutting solutions, metal sheets must be no larger than 4000 x 2000 mm and no thicker than 100 mm. You can find all our specifications at the bottom of this page. You can have your products cut at one of three different quality levels. Waterjet cutting produces an almost burr-free cut edge and therefore requires minimal finishing. Small notches and contours on thicker plates are no problem for waterjet cutters. Therefore, your steel, stainless steel, and aluminium sheets can easily be cut to size at De Cromvoirtse using our waterjet cutters.
